Roland
Léger joined Desjardins Venture Capital in September
1999 and serves as Investment Manager, Information
Technology.
Roland
has more than 10 years' experience in telecommunications,
mainly in engineering, strategic planning and
new market development. For the last eight years,
he has focused on Québec software companies. He
plays a very active role on the boards of directors
of some of our partner companies.
Roland
is an engineer with a bachelor's degree in electrical
engineering from the University of Sherbrooke.
He also has a degree in administrative sciences
(DSA) from HEC de Montréal.

Jacques
Perreault is Senior Investment Manager, Information
Technology with Desjardins Venture Capital.
Over
the past twelve years, Jacques has been actively
involved in the financing of Canadian technology
companies. He played a leading role in the development
and growth of the technology subsidiary of the
Caisse de dépôt et de placement du Québec (formerly
known as Sofinov), one of the largest venture
capital organizations dedicated to the financing
of Canadian technology businesses.
His
broad expertise in technology financing and his
network of local and international contacts are
major assets. In previous positions, Jacques has
worked with such companies as Think Dynamic (sold
to IBM), Pyderion Contact Technologies (acquired
by Intercom Inc., a subsidiary of EADS), Tecsys
(TSX: TCS), Kaydara (acquired by Alias/Autodesk),
Bibliomondo (acquired by Isacsoft) and Geocom
TMS (acquired by Red Prairie). He has also been
a member of the advisory committees of Boston-based
Grandbanks Capital and Commonwealth Capital Ventures.
Jacques
holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration
(Finance) and an MBA (Honours) in Economics from
Université Laval in Québec City.
