Brigitte
Dupuis has been Vice-President, Resource Regions and Cooperatives,
with Desjardins Venture Capital since April 2007. As such, she
is responsible for implementing an investment strategy that fosters
the economic development of Québec’s resource regions and cooperatives
with a team of more than 20 Investment Directors throughout Québec.
Working
in the Desjardins caisse network for the last 25 years, Brigitte
has wide-ranging professional experience in management. She began
her career in personal, business and farm credit and specialized
savings before going on to hold successive management positions
including over 10 years as a caisse General Manager.
Until
recently, Brigitte was General Manager at Caisse du Mont-Royal
where she directed a team of 65 employees in two full-service
branches with a business volume of more than $730 million.
Brigitte’s
assets include several university management degrees in Change
Leadership, Human Resources Management, General Administration
for a B.Sc. from HEC. She is currently completing a master’s degree
at Laval University.
She is also a member of several organizations,
including the Financial Women Association, and serves as a director
on the Board of the Fondation Docteur Maurice Bertrand.
