Whether it be to support the growth of your company, accelerate the development or marketing of your products, make an acquisition or invest in your working capital, Desjardins Venture Capital can tailor its financing to your needs as well supply all necessary strategic support.

Our selection criteria are different depending on the type of investment considered, whether in the form of venture capital or mezzanine financing.

We invest in the economy’s key sectors, with the exceptions of real estate, tourism, financial services, retail, natural resources, company turnaround, or in companies whose principle business consists of making venture capital investments.

We hold minority stakes in our partner companies, and can participate at the startup phase and continue our participation through the successive growth stages of your business. The amounts invested can be up to $20 million with a horizon of 5 to 8 years, and take the form of common or preferred shares, debentures (convertible or non-convertible, participatory), or mezzanine financing.
