Catherine Lenfant is Vice-President, Finance and Portfolio Valuation with Desjardins Venture Capital since December 2004. Previously she was Manager, Finance and Portfolio Valuation, a position she held since September 2002.

She worked for seven years at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton as part of the certification staff. She began as an intern, and at her departure held the position of General Manager of Certification.

She subsequently held the post of Investment Counsellor with the Fonds régional de solidarité Laurentides for two years, before returning to Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton as General Manager, Financial Services, where she specialized in company valuations.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as an MBA in finance from Montréal’s Hautes Études Commerciales.

Catherine is a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec (Québec Order of Chartered Accountants) since 1992, and is an expert in enterprise evaluation (EEE) since 2003.
